Remembering Guido

The first week of October we lost our dear friend, co-worker and devoted family man, Ricardo Ruiz. We knew him as Guido. He spent many years in San Diego’s sportfishing industry aboard fleet boats as a chef and deckhand. He was a key player in making "Day at the Docks" happen each year. If you are a dancer or a lover of music and attended "Gator By The Bay" it was Guido that made sure all the details and logistics were in place. He was the kind of person that you knew would ALWAYS be there for you. He was dedicated to his family and friends. We are organizing this fundraiser to assist his family, Diana and son Billy as they move forward without him. He will be missed in so many ways. The fundraising goal was increased based on anticipated need.
