Remembering Ger.

Donation protected
On the 2nd October close to what should be our Aunt Ger’s 52nd birthday Robbie and I are doing a skydive in aid of St. Luke's Radiation Oncology Centre.

For those who didn’t know Ger, she was the most amazing person with a smile that would brighten up any room, she loved life and always lived it to the fullest. She always went over and above her Aunt duties and was more like a sister to all of us. But unfortunately in August 2018, Ger received a diagnosis of glioblastoma brain cancer and just 8 short months later on 16th April, Ger passed away!

Throughout her illness Ger showed amazing strength and courage and one of the places she wanted to raise money for when she got better was St. Luke's Radiation Oncology Centre as with each difficult & scary visit up there she was greeted with the biggest smile and cared for in the best way possible!

As most will know, Ger was our No. 1 supporter in everything we done even though I am not so sure she would agree that jumping out of an airplane is one of our best choices, but for us for those few minutes we are up there we will be that little bit closer to her!
