Remembering Geordie, supporting baby Murray

On January 23, 2020, Geordie Murray passed away in a tragic accident while in Alberta with dear friends. This wonderful husband, brother, son and friend was an adventurer with a huge heart, who died doing something he loved.
Geordie was one of the most selfless people on this earth. He was a passionate, outgoing, energetic soul who was committed to making everyone smile. While reminiscing, Geordie's mother Kath said something that captured his essence perfectly, "He could never drive by when someone was stuck on the side of the road. There isn't a bone in his body that would have let him leave someone in a lurch". He was a person that others aspired to be like; a true role model of a man.
Shauna Murray (née Clarke), Geordie's wife of almost two years, has lost her life partner far too soon. She is solaced by the miracle that is their baby, due this coming July. Geordie's legacy lives on through this new soul.
Many people have asked how they can support the family during this difficult and heartbreaking time. I have set up this page in response to the outpouring of support for Shauna and the Murray family. For those who are looking to support but don't know how, this would be a great opportunity.
All proceeds from this campaign will go directly to Shauna in support of baby Murray's growth and education. An education fund will be created, and any additional donations will go towards opportunities for baby Murray to grow and experience a full life to honour his/her father's memory.
We ask that anyone who has a story about how Geordie has impacted their lives, or a sweet memory to share, please email [email redacted]. The stories will be compiled into a book for Shauna to share with the baby.
