Hello, my name is Joey Ruiz, and I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, LaResa Ruiz Parra.

On August 26, 2025, our family experienced the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of Francisco Javier Parra-Duarte, a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend. Francisco was only 40 years old and leaves behind his wife, LaResa, and their four beautiful children: Luke, Rocio, Sofia, and Frances.

Because his passing was so unexpected, our family is asking for support to help cover final expenses and the costs that come with laying him to rest. Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden for LaResa and the children during this incredibly difficult time.
