<div>Second to his family, nature was at the heart of everything Darrell did. He loved spending time camping with his family, working in the yard, and enjoying walks through Edmonton's beautiful Whitemud Ravine. He found happiness in the outdoors, and in particular among the foothills of Crowsnest Pass. Most importantly, he took great pride in creating lasting memories with those he loved.

<div>In lieu of flowers, a memorial tree will be planted in Darrell's memory through the City of Edmonton's Commemorative Tree Program – a fitting tribute to a man who loved nature and the outdoors.
