Remembering C.J. Kalkowski

C.J. was a loving, goodhearted soul even though he may not have always known how to show it.  He left this world much earlier than he ever should have.  He had many struggles in this world - many unknown, unseen struggles.  Despite this, he always wanted to do good. 

He was loved by many.  In the recent days, I have often heard, "C.J. has and always had a special place in my/our hearts."  This was true.  C.J. was a lost soul who strayed from even his own desired path, but there was always something about him that made you love him.   He was active, adventurous, curious, intelligent, hard-working and funny. 

With all of this said, we are doing our best to give C.J. the eternal rest I believe he deserves.  We are looking to raise funds to pay for the funeral, his burial, and a headstone.   There are other fundraisers being organized by his friends of which the proceeds will be added to this fund.  

I love my little brother, and although we chose to live our lives in different ways  I always wanted to look out for him.  This is the final way I will be able to do so.  All of the love, support, and prayers is greatly appreciated.  Thank you <3
