Blas Romeo Reyes Sr., age 83, of Winder, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He was born in Laredo, TX to the late Guillermo and Maria Delaluz Reyes. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the mid 1960s. Blas retired after 32 years with the Texas Migrant Council in Laredo. Since his retirement and moving to Winder, he enjoyed going to the Barrow Senior Center. He liked playing pool, telling jokes, playing the guitar and singing.
In addition to his parents, Blas was preceded in death by his son, Blas Romeo Reyes, Jr., and his brothers: Guadalupe Reyes and Victor Reyes. He is survived by his wife JoAnn Vaughn Reyes; son, Roberto Reyes; daughters: Elisa (Anthony) Reyes Castillo, Sandra Amelia (Glen) Engstrom, JoAnn Reyes Solis, and Diana (David) Cannaday; his sister, Clementina (Jesus) Reyes Ramos; 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
