</div>
<div>Thomas John Gibbons,
</div>
<div>a son first, then a brother,
</div>
<div>a cousin, a friend, a coach,
</div>
<div>a colleague, a mentor;
</div>
<div>a husband and a father; the proudest roles he joyfully embraced.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>There were many hats and shoes that Tom wore,
</div>
<div>and those that were graced by his warmth,
</div>
<div>or laced with his footsteps,
</div>
<div>were given something so impactful, that you'd forget what you faced.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is the spirit that he instilled,
</div>
<div>the belief that you did not know,
</div>
<div>but the courage you needed,
</div>
<div>in order to grow.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If only we could give that in return,
</div>
<div>the magic that he fulfilled,
</div>
<div>for every special moment that he created,
</div>
<div>even long after how we learned.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every where he went, every place he travelled,
</div>
<div>he met someone old, someone new,
</div>
<div>someone he knows, or someone in his crew - all just the same, would have felt his fame.
</div>
<div>Because he made a connection, and looked you in the eye,
</div>
<div>like you were the special one, not just another guy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Remember all of him, and all that he brought,
</div>
<div>as I write this with a broken heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate generously, as he did with his time,
</div>
<div>because we have no more of that,
</div>
<div>but only what he has left behind.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>For Tommy, Riley, Will, and Sue - know that we all love you. </em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>If you would like to share your story, and let the children experience the Tom you knew, please reach out for the GibbonsLegacy email address to send your thoughts privately. Thank you.</em>
