Sunday, June 6, I announced to my congregation that I will resign as their senior pastor at the lastest early Spring 2017, (date not determined) to relocate my bride (Patricia) of almost 30 years to a larger city (San Antonio, Texas) in order for her to receive advance medical gastrointestinal care beyond a Community Hospital.
This was not an easy decision to make in the sense that (we) have come to love this great Hill Street Congregation and Community over the last 13 years as they have for my family.
My wife's medical journey started while serving her Country in the U.S. Army in 1988 at the Nurnberg Medical Hospital Germany.
In 1989 she was transferred by Military Medical Transport to Walter Reed Amy Medical Center in Washington, DC., for more surgeries.
This is strictly a walk by faith move without a pastoral position, ministerial staff position or civilian employment position in my future.
I didn't realize that it cost so muchto move household goods with a Moving and Storage Company. We appreciate your help and generosity!
