Help rescue Bali dogs arrive to their adoptive homes!
In Bali we have a staggering and disturbing issue Bali dogs face. There is an overpopulation of dogs, a limited rescue network and even fewer adopters. The lack of education leads to an overload of sick dogs on the streets. More and more people want breed dogs, and the Bali dogs are sadly left behind. We also have a disturbing amount of dogs being killed for dog meat. Free roaming dogs are especially always in danger of becoming victims of the dog meat trade.
As solo rescuers we see dogs and puppies that have been dumped on the streets every day, and although we know that rescuing won’t solve the bigger issue we simply can’t ignore a dog suffering. The hardest part of rescuing is not the vet bills, or having a safe place where the dogs can recover, but rather finding adopters. This is why we need your help getting Bali dogs to loving homes outside of Indonesia.
We have 15 dogs ready to go to Canada and USA, but we can not afford this ourselves. With your help we would be able to relocate them to their forever homes. The most cost effective way we’ve found is to send 5 dogs at a a time using a flight volunteer. The price to send 5 dogs is approximately 5000$, which will include Microchips, health certificates, IATA approved cages, transport out of Bali to Jakarta, and a safe flight with a flight volunteer.
