Relief to Honduras
Donation protected
Hurricane Eta struck the same town of El Progreso Honduras the has been the focus of an annual volunteer medical mission, which began after Hurricane Mitch ravaged that area in 1998. We're already hearing from the ground that this hurricane feels much worse.
We have friends (who are like family after all of these years) in 3 different sections of El Progreso that have lost their homes and all of their possessions.
Their lives have been full of hardship, but after many years of rebuilding and enduring resilience, they were managing as best they could. Though resources were always sparse, our Honduran friends welcome us with open arms each year, offering their homes and their food while we work within their community. Now, for the second time in their lives, they have lost everything they own, including their sense of security and safety.
On top of this, they are living through the all too familiar global pandemic.
Because of my connections with these 3 families and their leadership, including a well respected local doctor (Dr. Tony), I can guarantee that all money will go to direct needs of shelter, food, clothing, medications, and to those in their community.
Our friends need us and this money immediately. Please consider donating and sharing.
