Relief Fund for Typhoon Victims in the Philippines

Hi friends! 

A Super Typhoon (Rolly)  hit the
Philippines specifically - Bicol Region on Sunday, November 1. That left houses
roofless and some are totally destroyed.


Growing up in my hometown, Balatan,
Camarines Sur, I encountered many
typhoons every year. But I haven’t seen
such devastation in my life brought by
this super typhoon. I am grateful that my parents’ house was not damaged but not everyone is lucky.

People in my town had to find temporary shelter in churches and schools. And COVID-19 pandemic makes the situation
worse.

Telecommunication has been restored
two days ago, but electricity has not.  It
may take months before everything gets restored. It is heartbreaking to think that people in my hometown would celebrate
Christmas in the dark.

I know these are tough times. And we’re
affected by covid one way or another,
but I pray you can help us bring hope to
these people who lost houses,
properties, access to food and clean
water.

I couldn’t bear to sit and do nothing
knowing this is happening. So I decided
to start this campaign to provide
assistance to the victims in my
hometown. All donations will be given to our community to help
provide them basic necessities.

A gift of any amount would make a
difference to the people in my
hometown.
