Help my Family in Puerto Rico

Hi. I find myself creating a go fund me tonight due to unforeseen circumstances. My family is back in Puerto Rico and as you may know our island is in need of humanitarian aid. Hurricane Maria was absolutely devastating and the whole island is in a state of crisis. We have been set back decades and only with courage, patience and the generosity of other communities can we recover from this. My family has been greatly affected by this natural disaster and I am humbly asking for your help today. As of writing this I have been able to make brief contact with my parents as well as two of my cousins and it is clear that in addition to the damage caused to their dwellings, that food and water are becoming scarce.  I intend to start shipping supplies to my family as soon as delivery services allow. Currently it is looking like this will not be possible until early October when the postal service resumes. Additionally I plan to use these dontations to assist with any other items that come up such as medical bills and housing costs. As more information becomes available I will update this post to keep you informed of the specific needs for these contributions.
