This is Sonny Smith who is our brother. Some of you who grew up in Martin, Tn may remember him growing up in Martin in the 1950's . He is a resident of Rockport, Texas . As you know this area was hit hard with the forces of Hurricane Harvey in August 2017.
Sonny has been impacted severely to a life changing status as he has lost everything including his residence in Rockport and he had no insurance .
He is living in a shelter in Austin , Texas and has to have temporary housing until he can arrange permanent housing .
Sonny is proud and would not want to reach out to our community but it has devastated his life situation to the point that he is asking for our help .
