Relief for Milissa: Medical Expense

For those of you that personally know my dad, Chuck Goering, and his better half, Milissa Berg, know that they would never request money from family and friends, so I am asking on their behalf. While we are immediately concerned with Milissa's critical health condition, there is a long road ahead, months in ICU and surgeries and at least a year in recovery. In working with insurance, I am also concerned about the imminent medical bills that will impose a significant burden on my dad and Milissa.
We all know that basic medical insurance only goes so far and nobody thinks that these tragedies will happen to them or their loved ones. I would have never thought this to happen to Milissa, one of the sweetest women that I know. Friend, mother-to-many (dogs and humans alike), grandmother and someone who has made her living taking care of others.
For those that have not heard, Milissa was in a bad accident June 17th and had to be air lifted to St. Mary's hospital in Duluth MN (2 hours away from their home in Big Fork) to the trauma surgeon. Milissa has sustained several critial injuries, including: Internal bleeding (later found due to a tear in her aorta), Severe head trauma (the Dr stated that her brain looks like a hard-boiled egg that was shaken in a jar), both lungs punctured, all ribs are broken and in mulitple places, dislocated shoulder and fractured pelvis.
We are lucky to have her and the last 24 hours has shown truly how strong she is. We are praying for no cognitive damage, but will not know until she wakes up. She is currently on a ventilator, expected for the next few weeks and is sedated to keep her blood pressure low.
