Relief For Lucy Hensley

Most of Kentucky reenactors know Lucy and her kids, Gus, Abby and Ava. Lucy has had a multitude of health problems this year (invoking HIPPA here). She has been on and off her job a lot due to her condition. The most recent one has been exceptionally hard on her. Even though her doctor has not released her she needed to go back to work to pay her bills and rent. This week on top of all that she has already suffered, she has been diagnosed with COVID 19. She is in quarantine and unable to return to work until she tests negative for 2 weeks. So no money coming in to pay rent or buy groceries. Her children have been tested but their results are not back yet.
i have known Lucy for almost 20 years, my wife for 27 years. She is a great person , great mother and a loyal and good friend to all her know her. I am appealing to those of you who know her to help raise some funds so that she won’t have to worry about those payments and other financial stuff while she is recovering. Let’s make this recovery period one where she can concentrate on wellness and getting better. She needs us to step up for her! I know we can do this.
