Relief For Joe Wheeler- Napa Fires

By now, we likely all know someone who has been greatly affected by the horrible fires in our beloved wine country, here in California. One person devastated by this declared “State of Emergency” is my cousin, Joe Wheeler. On Monday, October 9th, the Atlas Peak fire roared through his neighborhood, burning his home on Soda Canyon Road to the ground. The fire left almost nothing in its wake. When informed of their emergency evacuation, Joe & his girlfriend Trisha had less than 5 minutes to leave their property. As a result, they had time to save only themselves & their 2 dogs (their cat Otis jumped out is still missing).
Most importantly, they escaped unharmed & much of the material items can be replaced. That said, let’s help my cousin get back on his feet. If you know Joe Wheeler, you know that he has a ginormous heart & is always there when you need him. Joe would do anything for anyone & now it’s time for us to return the favor. Every dollar & every share of this post is helpful. Though we cannot take away the pain & stress that this tragedy has caused, we can help lift his spirits & encourage plans for a new beginning.
