Relief for Jim and his son, Rainer

I'm reaching out to you because we're starting a GoFundMe campaign for James K. Larsen and Rainer of Hazlet, NJ. Jim is suffering from neck and spine injuries which cause severe chronic pain and weakness in his extremities. In September 2017 Jim underwent his 3rd operation in the cervical spine to remove multiple herniated discs which were impinging on his spinal chord. He still requires surgery to his lumbar spine but due to current circumstances he has to push that off as the risk is very high. Jim has to be constantly medicated for pain relief in order to function daily.
Jim currently has medical bills totaling 28K thousand dollars.
Jim has been out of work since September, recommended by his doctors in order to maximize the probability of healing. Jim has been living off temporary disability which pays $315.00 a week.
On November 17, 2017, Jim’s wife Diane Larsen, 44, tragically passed away. Diane was born on June 9, 1973 in Long Branch, New Jersey and grew up in Keyport, New Jersey. She was an amazing person. She lit up a room, made everyone smile. In 2005, she settled in Hazlet, New Jersey and on October 14, 2006, Diane and James, were married and began their life together.
Jim and Diane’s son Rainer is now 10 years old.
Diane’s funeral was on November 25, 2017 at the Shore Point Funeral Home http://www.shorepointfh.com/notices/Diane-Larsen.
Funeral expenses total 10 thousand dollars. Unfortunately there is no life insurance. And all expenses fell on Jim's shoulders.
