Relief for Family from Domestic Violence

Hi. My name is Bobbi and I am trying to help a family that is in serious need. I have never done a GoFundMe before and I am doing so in the hopes that people I know and love  have the same burning need inside of them to help when we can and in whatever way we can. A woman who has been a stay at home mom for more than 15 years has recently been on the receiving end of a husband that is causing their family an extreme amount of pain and continuously putting them in danger. In attempting to help her out of this situation-- I have found myself going in circles with different organizations that are tasked to help women just like her-- but it isnt quite as easy as you would think. I can tell you this-- if I was in a situation where I was completely reliant on my husband financially-- and he was abusing me and our children-- I would feel hopeless after spending hours researching and calling and getting nowhere. THATS why they stay. I would feel like there is no way out. I would feel defeated and I would lose hope. That is what I am trying to do now-- give her hope. Give her children hope. What good is a network if not to DO GOOD. I want to help her get a car that doesnt have a tracking device on it. I want to help her get a phone that she can use without her messages being read and outgoing calls monitored. I want to help her have enough money to pay for an apartment (because low income housing is impossible with a years long waitlist). I want to help her pay for gas so she can drive back and forth to work so that she can earn money for herself and her children and not worry about the accounts being emptied and go to the store and have no money to buy food. I just want to HELP her. In any way i can. So I am reaching out. Hoping others do to. Hoping others will to.  If everyone I know could donate $5, $10.. where would she be? What hope could we restore and what lives could we save? I truly appreciate you reading this and considering donating and/or sharing with others.
