My name is Brenda Sahagian, I am a single mother and have been for the past 20 years. I became accustomed to putting myself on the backburner and living in survival mode and doing what it takes to keep my kids clothed, warm, safe and fed…
I have recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast and lymph cancer. I am still fighting every day to find other sources of income to get us through this tough time. On top of regular day-to-day expenses, treatment and healing is a huge added financial burden to try to deal with. I need to be focused on healing right now.
So despite being used to doing everything alone and keeping my struggle to myself, I am creating this GoFundMe and putting it out there so I can actually focus on healing.
I am realizing I need to reach out to my friends for help which is not at all easy for me. We need some relief for the next 4 months to get through this tough time and hopefully get my business running and get back to work. I'd like to catch up on my immediate essential bills and be able to go for treatments outside of what is covered.
I have created a Facebook group for everyone to follow my journey as well as posted all the educational info I've been deeply researching in case it can help someone else get through a serious health condition.
