Relief Drive for Pakistan Unprecedented Floods

Pakistan is facing an unprecedented humanitarian disaster after weeks of very heavy rainfall and flooding that have killed over 1,200 people, destroyed close to half a million homes, rendered roads impassable and caused widespread electricity outages affecting tens of millions of people. Pakistan’s Minister of Climate Change has described the floods as “a climate-induced humanitarian disaster of epic proportions.” Urgent needs include access to food, drinking water, medicines, and shelter. While there are so many shocking images of the flood victims in the news, the one above is heartbreaking.

The people of Pakistan need our help.

Pinnacle Academy is running a fundraising drive from (September 6-10).

In addition, on Friday, September 9, we will hold a fundraising breakfast from 8 am to 9:30 am for the victims in school cafeteria.

All donations from this giving drive will support Relief Foundations, who are providing immediate assistance in the form of food, tents for shelter, clean water and medical services in Pakistan.

Your gift can help people in Pakistan to start to rebuild. Thanks in advance for doing what you can to help in this horrible situation.
