Relief and re-build Jamanee Gunya

Donation protected
Hey, friends and family back in AUS and abroad.

Some of you may know already, some may not. My mum and Step Dad lost their Amazing property out the Back of Wheelbarrow road near Ulladulla. All structures were destroyed by the fire. Generations of personal belongings belonging to many family members, multiple artifacts of Aboriginal heritage and countless years worth of sculpture work all handmade by Noel and the tools he used to create them are all gone.

This property and its owners serve an important purpose in the cultural heritage and teachings of the local area. It's benefits have been felt worldwide with people coming from all corners to experience its beauty and welcome arms of Noel and Trish. It's important that they rebuild for the community and the First Nations People of Australia.  Unfortunately due to the unique nature of their property, the buildings were uninsurable at an affordable cost. Now they have to start again and focus on resilience.

With that said if anyone has a lead on a Caravan to temporarily house them on the site while they rebuild that would be appreciated. We are looking at all options. Buy, lease, borrow, etc. Please reach out to me and i'll put you onto my Sister who is leading the charge in helping with logistics.

The plan

What we will do with any donations is to rebuild and restore based on the core values of the camp. one being a focus on sustainability and resilience. Priority is to restore the Solar power system that supplied power to much of the camp. Then comes the reinstallation of the water storage. A must for any rebuilding basics. After that will be the reconstruction of the communal areas that Noel and Trish shared with anyone who wanted to experience their way of life and teachings. It's still early days and we will base rebuilding efforts to reflect both donations and on the ground help. Stay tuned for updates.

Noel and Trish are the most gentle and caring souls you will ever meet. They have opened their doors countless times over the years to people of all situations and needs. If their place of peace can help educate, reconnect or re-center your purpose then they will, and have, opened their arms selflessly. They are some of the most deserving people around today.

Anyone wishing to donate to the bushfire crisis in Australia please know that they can't take any more material items in crisis centers. Money is what's required. While looking for the right donation area for you please vet the site first. Scammers are popping up all over the place.
