On March 30, 2017, it was with great excitement that Jeannine and Ryan brought their 2nd set of twins into their family: Reid and Emersyn. All was well in their world.
9 weeks later on June 6, 2017, they received the devastating news that Reid, their sweet and peaceful baby boy, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia. Their world was turned upside down.
Reid has started chemotherapy to fight the leukemia. He has a devoted and focused medical team treating him around the clock. His treatment will be a long and hard road for him and the whole family.
When your friend looks at you with tear-filled eyes, you are reminded that we are not meant to journey this life alone.
We are raising funds to assist with the financial burden of medical, travel, and general living expenses that occur when life stops to care for your child with cancer. No donation is too small and every little bit is appreciated.
Jeannine and Ryan have showed an incredible level of strength and love caring for a sick baby in the hospital and three kids at home. Although it will be some time, the ultimate goal is to heal Reid and return him to his twin sister, Emersyn, and 3 year old brothers, Luke and Blake.
The family hopes that you will understand their request for privacy as they navigate this difficult road.
Update: It is with a heavy heart that I share our beloved, sweet Reid entered Heaven. Although his life was short here on earth, he was loved with such intensity by so many, especially his mom and dad.
