Rehabilitation Of Colleena Figueroa

Colleena J Figueroa is an outgoing 13 year old honor roll student who will be in the 8th grade this year. She has a beautiful spirit, positive nature, and loves the Lord. Colleena loves to write music, sing, dance, and enjoys spending time with her family.  Her smile can light up any room. On June 30th , 2018 a horrific act of violence that occurred in Greensboro, NC forever change her life. Colleena and her mother were victims of a random shooting while they were in their car. She is currently hospitalized due to a gunshot wound that went into her right shoulder, punctured her lung, and then traveled to her spine, causing severe spinal cord injury. Colleena currently has no feeling below the chest and the doctors are not optimistic that she will ever be able to walk again. Colleena believes that God is always by her side and will look after her. She has a positive outlook on this horrible tragedy. Colleena will need extensive rehabilitation out of state. Colleena has health insurance but it will not cover all the expenses. We are asking for donations to help cover the expenses for medical treatment and travel..
