Regis Softball Marathon Fundraiser

Dear Regis University Softball alumni, families, friends and fans,
We are off and “running” this Fall and anxious to see what is in store for this season. We have some amazing girls that are working hard to make this a season to remember. This year’s team represents 8 states, including 3 seniors, 5 juniors, 5 sophomores, and 8 freshman. The girls work extremely hard in school, practice, community service, weight training, red rocks workouts and we need your help!
Each year, the cost of running a successful program goes up and fundraising is an important aspect of today’s college athlete and coaches. Money raised goes to uniforms, equipment, meals, field improvements, travel expenses, and much more. Budget restraints make it hard to compete for a National Championship, which is the goal of each Regis player and coach. We use the money to enhance our program and to give our athletes the best opportunity to succeed.
This year, Head Coach, Daven Bond and assistant, Kelley Reeves are using their passion for running to raise money for the program. Daven and Kelley will be running the Denver Rock n’ Roll ½ marathon on Oct. 21st, and the Las Vegas Rock n’ Roll FULL marathon on Nov. 11th to aid in our fundraising efforts.
Would you consider sponsoring Daven and Kelley this year? Our goal is raise $15,000.00 through this fundraiser. In order to compete at the highest level, this is a necessary part of what we we do. If you can help us out, we would greatly appreciate it. Any amount will go a long way toward reaching our goal. The average cost of a team meal while on road trips is $250.00 each time. Would you consider donating a meal, or making a smaller donation?
