Regina's Fundraising Skydive For Dublin Zoo

So, as we all know by now Dublin Zoo has been struggling financially over the past few months due to Covid-19. As they are a registered charity they recieve 90% of their funding from the sale of admission tickets which hasnt been possible in recent times.
Earlier this month the #SaveDublinZoo campaign was issued in the hope that us, the general public could help them with the funding they need to look after the animals that we take for granted to see any time we pay the zoo a visit with our Children, Families and Friends.
When I seen the campaign advertised on Facebook I felt my heart sink. As an animal lover I was saddened to learn that the welfare of the animals in Dublin Zoo was now in jeopardy with some of them already being an endangered species.
I then seen some of my facebook friends adopting animals from Dublin Zoo for €50. Penguins, Elephants etc.. I thought to myself 'that's a great idea, let's adopt a lion' and then I thought to myself it's a pity I couldn't try do more.
Then it dawned on me. A Fundraising Skydive for Dublin Zoo. Perfect. I emailed the zoo immediately to see if they would approve of it and they did.
I done a Fundraising Skydive for Irish Wheelchair Association last year and it done exactly what it said on the tin. We raised the goal we set out to achieve.
So here we are. I am asking anybody who reads this to please donate something no matter how big or little. Every cent matters as an investment to our childrens or grandchildrens future not even to mention the animals.
I'm sure a lot of people here have very fond and special memories of visiting the zoo with their loved ones. Can you imagine a future here without the zoo? Not even for our sakes but for the animals too.
€10 can feed a western chimp for a day...€25 can feed a red panda for a day..€50 can feed a lion for a day..€75 can feed an Asian Elephant for a day and €100 can feed a Southern White Rhino.
I'm going to kick this gofundme off with a small donation myself and I hope you will all help me achieve this goal.
