For several years, the Regina Disc Golf Association (RDGA) has been working together to grow interest and opportunity in Regina's disc golf community. As a volunteer-run and funded organization, we have been able to facilitate tournaments, pop-up courses, league nights, and putt clubs - to name a few. Among our bigger goals, we hope to finish the course in Douglas Park and even build a new 9-hole course! With the help of this fundraiser, we would also like to offer more events and clinics, making the sport more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
Since its establishment in 2014, the Douglas Park disc golf course remains unfinished. Completing the remaining tee pads and putting up hole signs would make it safer and more accessible. We've seen the sport's popularity grow exponentially in the last two years, and we've been excited to see both new and seasoned disc golfers populating Douglas Park. A new 9-hole course would breathe fresh air into Regina's disc golf community, offering players a new space to play, enjoy, and develop their skills.
We appreciate your support - with your help, we can continue to grow the sport together.
