Reggie’s Veterinary Care and Recovery

Hey friends and Fam ! I am reaching out because my dear pod family has a sweet two year old rescue dog named Regina (Reggie) and her humans Dannah and Loren, who I would like to help raise funds to go towards her veterinary care and rehabilitation treatment plan.

Reggie was out playing fetch when she experienced what the ER vet believes to be a sudden spinal cord injury (FCE) that has caused her to lose mobility in one of her back legs. The majority of dogs with this injury regain mobility with therapy, treatments, and time. With overnight stays, medicines, MRI, possible surgery, definite rehabilitation, care supplies, and lots of time, we believe Reggie can heal and recover due to her impeccable health and young age. She will also have support on her healing journey from her amazing humans who care deeply about the well being of their animals.

I would like to ask that if you are able to, please donate to help offset some of the financial stress that Reggie’s humans are facing. I know they would be eternally grateful and also be able to be better prepared to support the recovery of their beloved Reggie with less financial stresses to manage.

Reggie has been with her forever fam since July of 2018. She is the smartest, sweetest, most gentle, fun, and loving dog I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Her humans embody those same qualities. This has been a traumatic experience for Reggie’s family in an already turbulent timeline that we all know as 2020.

We are keeping her in our minds and hearts visualizing her healing and walking again. I ask that you please do the same if you are unable to donate, so that our collective thoughts may keep spirits and hopes up, for the highest good of Reggie and her family.

I know we are all feeling some type of turbulence that has shaken us up and this is a big ask during a time when a dog may not seem so important but Please refrain from pointing that out right now. Reggie is an important special part of the family and those type of comments are unnecessary in an already challenging time.

Full disclosure: The goal amount is $7000 which would cover the necessary MRI and possible surgery if it is needed. If surgery is not needed I will adjust the goal accordingly.
