Pay for Reggie's funeral &help Dave

Tragically, Dave has now lost three of his four sons. He buried his youngest son Reggie on Monday 9th April 2018.
When you read his story you will not believe how life has dealt such a terrible hand to this NSW Central Coast family. We want to reach out to you in the hope we can raise enough money to pay for Reggie’s funeral and celebrate the life of a young man who meant the world to so very many.
Our son Josh and Reggie were the best of mates, and we are devastated by the loss of this vibrant young man who made such a huge impact on everyone who knew him. After visiting Dave and John on Wednesday night it became apparent they were struggling financially with the costs of yet another family funeral.
Dave and his wife Anne had four sons: Glen, Mitch, John & Reggie. Mitch was severely handicapped from birth and Dave was his full time carer. Whilst Glen loved his rugby league, John and Reggie were both talented soccer players. Life was good, but then a series of unbelievable events occurred shattering this family of six.
Glen was 17 years old in 2001 when his parents came home one day to find him on the floor. He had an undiagnosed heart condition and suffered a massive heart attack that killed him.
Anne, in 2014 fell down the stairs at a friend’s house hitting her head and never regained consciousness. Her life-support was turned off.
Mitch, exactly nine months to the day after his Mum had passed, suffered complications from his severe handicap and died of pneumonia.
And now Reggie his youngest son passed away in the early hours of Friday morning as the result of an electrocution accident. Reggie was 23 years old.
So now Dave has buried the fourth member of his family; his popular, funny, talented boy, Reggie.
How one man endure so much grief is incomprehendable.
Our aim is to help Dave and his remaining son John with Reggie’s funeral expenses, which are currently at approximately $10,000.
Any funds remaining after the funeral expenses will go to Dave for him to do with whatever he wishes - maybe take a dream holiday! Let’s not forget John, who has lost three brothers and his Mum – we’d really like to help John out in some way too.
We have set the GoFundMe page so the donations will be directly deposited into John Whelpdale's bank account as per Dave's request (Dave does not have internet banking - he's a bit old school :)).
