Refugees arriving in Canada - Settlement Program

Hi, my name is Sophia Hassam from Toronto, Canada and I am helping, along with Focus Canada and the Ismaili Settlement Program, to give the most vulnerable refugees a head start in starting their new lives here in Canada. Please join me in extending a warm Canadian welcome to those seeking refuge from the horrors of war-torn regions. As our nation opens its arms to these vulnerable families, it's crucial that we offer our support in any way possible.

Partnering with the Ismaili Settlement Program and Focus Canada, I've committed to aiding newly arrived refugee families in the Toronto area. These families arrive with little more than the clothes they wear and have endured unimaginable hardships. The program provides essential support during their first year in Canada, including housing, access to government assistance, and furnishing their homes. However, one pressing need remains: small kitchen appliances.

Please join me in this noble cause by contributing to our small appliance donation drive. Below is a list of items needed for each family as they begin their journey to rebuild their lives in Canada. Together, let's ensure they have the tools they need for a fresh start. I am asking for donations for the purchase of small kitchen appliances. I will be buying blenders, microwaves, toasters, irons, can openers and kettles, and roller shopping carts.
