Reforestation in Uganda
Donation protected
In February I will be going to Uganda to volunteer with Africa Sustainable Tourism Care Foundation on their Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation Program.
The program benefits communities throughout Uganda by promoting sustainable approaches to resource management and raising environmental awareness thus reducing the strain on the natural forest and creating sustainable livelihoods for community members. Uganda, named 'the pearl of Africa' is home to one of the highest rates of biodiversity so the conservation of it is particularly important.
I will be helping with agro-forestry, tree planting and reforestation. I am fundraising to cover the cost of vital items needed for the running of the project.
If you can spare any money for a great cause it would be a huge help.
Please check out the program here
Thank you so much!
