Hi, my name is Chella I am 37 years old. I live in the Dominican Republic but my place of birth is Haiti. In November I was feeling unwell and went to hospital. I remained in the hospital for several weeks and did not feel like I was getting any better. I was told my liver was not working properly. Since coming out of hospital I have been told I would need a new liver as the treatment I have been receiving has not worked.

I am a single mum and live with my mum and my 7-year-old daughter. Due to my failing health, I have not been able to work and have been supported by family and friends.

Due to the cost of a Liver transplant and not being able to have it done in the Dominican Republic, I will need to go to another country for treatment.

I would be very grateful if anyone could donate even the smallest amount to help me.
