<div>Edmond Richardson is a talented journalist and filmmaker who has been incarcerated for 14 years. Arrested on August 23, 2010, for robbery, Edmond was sentenced to 30 years to life due to the Three Strikes Law, despite the original maximum sentence being just 6 years. After a long fight for justice, Edmond was re-sentenced on December 23, 2022,<strong> and he will be released from prison in just a few weeks!</strong>

<div>While in prison, Edmond co-founded <a href="https://forwardthisproductions.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Forward This</a> , a groundbreaking film project that gives incarcerated individuals a platform to share their stories, humanizing their experiences in a way that challenges societal perceptions of incarceration. As a co-host of the award-winning podcast <a href="https://www.weareuncuffed.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">UnCuffed</a> , he amplified conversations about healing and resilience, creating the space for men in prison to share their most vulnerable moments. Most recently, he trained in <a href="https://www.cdcr.ca.gov/facility-locator/conservation-camps/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CDCR’s Fire Camp Program</a> , spending the last year traveling across California to fight fires, demonstrating his commitment to community and service.
