"Reefer Madness: Origins" TOFringe Fundraiser 2019

Greetings Arts Enthusiasts and Recreational Theatre Lovers!
After strong support from the Toronto Theater Community, D&M Creative is proud to present:
"Reefer Madness: Origins"
A gripping and insightful play - centred around the stigma of Cannabis and its origins in the 1930s. The story follows Harry Anslinger, the Commissioner of Narcotics and his mission to eradicate the cannabis plant at all costs! Reefer Madness had its very first debut at Ryerson University’s New Voices Festival 2018. It had two sold-out performances with over 140 patrons and supporters.
7 performances: July 3rd-14th, Premiering at the Toronto Fringe Festival 2019!
For this year’s Fringe, we successfully secured the well-known Tarragon Theatre and it has a 205-seat theatre space.

Set Design
Filming expenses (there is a Reefer Madness movie within the play)
Posters, flyers, programme booklets, advertisement expenses
