Why am I doing this?
It's time for a new career. It's time for me to find something that pays better than just enough to keep the lights turned on and the rent paid.
A while back, somebody mentioned they're looking to bring on a trainee to be a real estate appraiser. That's a great job with a future. But because it's the State of Illinois, there are classes that have to be taken before you can be a trainee and those classes ain't cheap. This state loves, loves, loves fees and classes.
I already have the Bachelor's degree, which is also required by the State of Illinois, so the hard part is done. Now all I need to do is take a pre-training class online so that I can begin about two years as a Real Estate Appraisal Trainee.
I need $900 so I can take the online class.
This is a great opportunity for me if I can just get this rolling.
Once I do, then I can begin to make real money, and maybe even start to dig myself out of debt. Right now, that seems like a million miles away, but if I can just get a better job it could become reality.
