<div>De Nedereindse berg in Nieuwegein (regio Utrecht) is de laatste jaren uitgegroeid tot een skills- en speelparadijs voor mountainbikers. De trails hier zijn uniek in Midden-Nederland. Van jumps en gaps tot kombochten, off-camber stukken en steile secties — rijders van elk niveau kunnen hier groeien, grenzen verleggen en vooral: lol hebben! Het is dé plek om te trainen voor avonturen in het buitenland, zoals Winterberg, de Ardennen of de Alpen — maar dan gewoon dicht bij huis.

<div><strong>Maar dit alles dreigt te verdwijnen.</strong>

<div>Zonder officiële legalisatie moeten deze een heleboel uitdagende trails worden verwijderd van de gemeente en Staatsbosbeheer. En dat zou een enorme klap zijn voor de mountainbike community. Want zonder deze trails blijft er weinig uitdaging over op de route, en verdwijnt een plek waar zoveel mountainbikers hun skills ontwikkelen en plezier beleven.

<div>Een groep enthousiaste vrijwilligers – waaronder BikeBetter en Tree Dodger Charles - willen nu de stichting Trashtrails oprichten, een officiële trailcrew die zich inzet voor:

<div>✅ Integratie in de MTB-route Nieuwegein (regio Utrecht)
</div>
<div>✅ Behoud en uitbreiding van uitdagende trails
