What is This Sport?
For those that don't know what this sport is that I compete in- It's always easier explained in a video than in words:

What is the Reason for This?
I've been doing this sport for about 4 years now (wish I had started it when I was 20).   At first it was just something cool to try, but now it's become something of a hobby.

This year I've made my way onto the US Ice Cross Team.  Sounds cool and all, but despite what you think- they do not help out financially unless you're one of the top few athletes (I am not one of those).

After doing better than expected in Quebec this past weekend, I've managed to earn an invitation for the season finale in Edmonton, Canada .  This puts me at the most races I've ever done in a season (5 total).

Doing this on my own without sponsorships means all of this money comes out of my pocket.  Five races across two continents starts to take a toll on the wallet...

What Can You Do to Help?
Anything helps.  $5 gets me an overpriced bottle of water at the airport.  Buying last minute flights and hotels goes against "Savings 101", but that's kind of how this sport goes...

PLEASE  DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO DONATE!  This isn't going to some charity at the end, nor is it going to solve world hunger.  This is soley to help a 30 year old male, compete in an obscure sport.

Anything at all helps more than you know!
