Access to good quality uniform for ALL children

My name is Ludimila Faria. I am  a local single mother and the founder of Recycling School Uniforms (RSU),  a registered community interest company and social enterprise https://recycleschooluniform.com 

As we all know, we are living in unprecedented times and the current pandemic has left us feeling the financial burden. With this in mind many parents won't be able to afford brand new uniforms for their children. Likewise due to funding cuts, many schools and youth clubs may have to cut school activities that are essential for a good child upbringing.  And as a single mother I know too well what it’s like to feel the strain on my finances.

At RSU we will perform minor repairs and launder donated uniforms to re-sell at an affordable price to low-income families. A percentage of the funds generated from the re-sale will be donated to youth clubs/ schools activities in the Partner school’s area. 

RSU would appreciate your support in the form of donations so that we can start RSU as soon as possible with the necessary equipment in place to operate efficiently before September 2020 when parents need school uniforms the most.


Getting your help it will mean a lot to all low-income families who need this support before and during the start of this next academic year 2020. It will surely make a huge difference to those low-income families and to the involved local schools and youth clubs.
