Recovery Fundraiser For J.D. Cash

Donation protected
My nightmare started in October 2016 when I received the Grandfather Of Operations according to the doctors. I underwent open heart surgery receiving a four way bypass, a new heart valve and a pacemaker/defibulator. I had a great surgeon, Dr. McIntyre at Grand Strand Hospital who saved my life.
I was in ICU for 11 days. The cost of this ordeal has past $2,000,000.00 and is still climbing.
I went into a nursing/rehab home when I was released from the hospital, only to catch Pneumonia and return to the hospital. Once I was released I moved into a hotel for three months where I received in home nursing care and was close to the hospital. I am now in Cardiac Rehab and doing better but have a long way to go.
After being displaced from my home for 5 months, I was able to return home on March 3, 2017 only to find out my place of employment for the past 13 years had been sold. I'm now out of work and faced with a huge stack of bills and I am still a few months away from total recovery.
I had a major setback on May 10, 2017 when I received a bad report from an echo cardiogram report. My Left Ventricle Is Only Pumping At 20 to 25 % Which Is Very Low & Weak. It May Be Possible To Build It Up To 35%. ~ Normal Is 55 To 70% ~ It's Been Very Stressful And Depressing.  My Cardiologist Will Continue To Treat Me With New Medicines, Diet & Exercise. However, If that doesn't work, my only option is a LVAD which is a bridge to a heart transplant and would require one or two more open heart surgeries.
It's now 2018 and I'm still here, Praise The Lord. I feel better and my voice has come back but I'm still suffering from Severe Systolic and Diastolic Heart Failure. My Ejection Fraction is still Very Low which basically means my Heart is not pumping enough blood which effects other parts of the body. The doctor doesn't think it's gonna get any better and suggested I start thinking about an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) which is an electric heart pump which is the bridge to a possible Heart Transplant  which I can not wrap my brain around right now,  especially since I'm able to get around, drive and sing a little bit from time to time but I'm limited in my activities and the ability to do anything very strenuous.  I'm not sure I'd survive and make it thru Another Open Heart Surgery plus I don't have any support system to make it thru another long recovery process.  I'm taking it a day at the time and trying to enjoy my life as much as possible while I still can.
Please keep me in your prayers. Any donations received would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
J.D. Cash
