Sending Support for Justin Birch

There are moments in life where we need to support each other a little bit more than normal.
On September 20, Justin Birch - a son, brother, partner, and friend - went through a traumatic farm accident which resulted in the amputation of his right hand and wrist. Justin will be in the hospital for at least another two weeks as his medical team closely monitors the beginning stages of recovery.
If you know Justin, you would agree that he is one of the most kind-hearted, sometimes stubborn, willing to help humans out there. He cares about those close to him and will always put others first. Hence, his commitment to being a volunteer firefighter. Justin also works for the city and is extremely passionate about his family farm (Birdun Farm) where he raises beef cattle.
There is no need in explaining that the next few months will be challenging. Through recovery and rehab, Justin is going to need support from his family, friends, and community; he is going to need support not just today and tomorrow but for the months coming as well. At this time though, what recovery looks like is questionable. This page has been started to help reduce the various costs that may be associated with his recovery (hospital parking passes, adjusting and modifying to life's day to day activities, and or the potential of getting a prosthetic hand).
If you wish to make a non-monetary donation, Melissa (Justin's girlfriend) has kindly asked that food (fresh or frozen) be brought over in two weeks' time when she welcomes him back home.
This is not going to be an easy fight. However, the hope is that Justin's support system and those beyond will come together and help him a little bit more than normal during these times.
