Recovery From Life Saving Lung Surgery

Donation protected
On Nov. 8th, my husband was wished by ambulance to Halifax Health hospital in Daytona Beach, FL after after having very serious trouble breathing. When he spoke, xo could hear nothing but fluid. After checking his oxygen with an oxiimeter, his oxygen was as low as 42%.
The ambulance rushed to us, and thankfully were able to administer advanced life support to get him tk the hospital alive. Once there, it was determined he had a collapsed lung that was filled with fluid. He fell into a coma for 36 hours, and at one time was "dead" for 174 seconds. The hospital sent in a priest to help prepare me that we may very well lose him.
The surgery itself was considered a success. He was under for nearly 4 hours, where they installed 3 tubes and had to remove a rib in order to get the tubes in.
When we awoke, we spent nearly 3 weeks in the ICU. Everyday was a struggle, and continues to be. Since I lost my skincare job due to covid, my husband was responsible for keeping us afloat. Since he is now, and for the foreseeable future, unable to while he recovers, we have fallen behind.
Last month we received an eviction notice, and have been without water in our home for nearly 3 weeks now. I have done my best to keep his wounds clean, but without water, that has been proving difficult.
I am not comfortable asking for help like this, but I am not sure what else to do. My husband is a hard worker, and I know that he would know better what to do to make sure I was ten care of. We have sold all we have to sell to try and keep power on, have tried all we know to keep moving forward. He is going without medications we were told may be necessary for his survival.
I am so sorry to be asking for help like this, but I don't know what else to do. We have tried churches, and local charities to no avail. For a while it looked as if the government would be able to help, and that seems to have fallen through now too. Again, I am sorry, but we are in desperate need of help.
At this point, since we don't have insurance, we have already been billed more than $250k for his surgery and time in the hospital. He needs follow up appointments that we are unable to afford. My goal is just for the bare minimum in order to save our home, and get power and necessary meds. We will worry about the insurmountable medical bills at a later date. Any help available would be more than appreciated. Thank you so much for any consideration.
