Recovery for Ezekiel

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God... because that is what we are!!! A short 24 hours ago our 14 month old Grandson Ezekiel was trapped in a house fire on 9/4/20 along with his 3 year old brother. Both sustained traumatic injuries, with Ezekiel's being life threatening. Ezekiel lungs were badly damaged along with burns over 60% of his body. After being life flighted to  St. Elizabeth Burn Center in Lincoln, NE it was determined Ezekiel needed to be flown University of Iowa Children's Hospital for more extensive care. Ezekiel arrived at UICH at sunrise and settled in for what will be a long and enduring journey of recovery, expected to be 6 - 9 months, these first 48 are the most critical to cleanse and restore his damaged lung tissue and support his lung capacity. He will experience of lifetime of care over the next few months and be engaged with reconstruction and restoration of tissue for his lifetime. How does one begin to estimate these costs??? What can be certain is that Ezekiel has survived these first 24 hours, that through the orchestrated service of the CBFD, CBPD, a multitude of Medical Care Providers and most of all the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ and His Amazing Miraculous Grace. Our Ezekiel is on path to recovery & restoration. This path becomes so much clearer as the Love & Light of Christ shines brighter! Ever so much brighter than the morning sun... Let it Shine...
