Recovery Fellowship Facility

Tax deductible
Native Christian Access to Redemption Evangelicals (Native C.A.R.E.) is sharing an opportunity to partner with our ministry serving God through an Addiction Recovery ministry on the Rosebud Sioux reservation in South Dakota. Native CARE grew out of a local Access to Recovery Federally funded grant substance abuse treatment initiative that ended in 2016. The basic services of intervention, outpatient treatment and 12 step recovery support groups continue with Christian volunteers. Outpatient treatment and continuing care are conducted by a South Dakota licensed addiction counselor in the Wesleyan church building in Mission SD. The church has been without a pastor or congregation for a couple years.

The Wesleyan administration entered into an agreement with the Prairie Lakes District of Nazarene church to partner and continue this Recovery ministry. The Wesleyan’s provided the vacant church building and parsonage and the Nazarene’s pay the utilities and insurance allowing Native CARE to operate with volunteers.

The Wesleyan church served a 90 day notice to vacate in November of 2017. The decision was made to sell the property at the appraised value of $85,000.00. Native CARE is locally supported through fund raisers, tithes, offerings and gifts. As of March 25, 2018, Native CARE raised $45,000.00 toward the purchase of the property.

Native CARE solicits prayer for the Lord to allow Native CARE to continue to operate in and purchase the former Wesleyan property in Mission, SD. We believe in answer to our prayers, the Lord has moved in the hearts of believers to contribute. Native CARE is a 501 c 3 tax exempt American Indian organization with the Nazarene Church.

Native CARE entered a purchase agreement for payment of the balance of $40,000.00 by April 10, 2018.

A contributor asked that we create a GoFundMe to share this opportunity with others to be blessed through giving.

Native CARE provided intervention and treatment services to over 600 residents of the Rosebud Reservation from 2011 to present. This ministry has proven to be effective by integrating spirituality as the foundation of recovery. We share the gospel of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Light to illuminate our path to freedom from sin.

Our clients began a 12 Step Recovery Bible fellowship and utilize the facility for recovery meetings. Our staff use the facility as our office and treatment center.

We are grateful for your prayers and consideration to contribute. 100% of the funds raised will be used for the purchase of these facilities so the Native CARE ministry can continue to grow.
