Recovery effort! 30 dogs!

Chow Chow Rescue Society was so busy this summer taking in many medical cases and seniors. We have bills that we still need to pay off and recoup losses for in order to be able to help other dogs.  We have spent over $15k since August and are at a stand still until we can fundraise more money.

We do NOT “ make money “ by rescuing dogs, we lose money. 
We have had multiple dogs with severe medical issues costing us thousands. 

I know our followers love the work we do and love to follow the stories of each dog as we document them through social media.

We can not save anymore dogs until we have paid off vet bills and recoup the thousands we have spent.  Often this comes from our own pockets. We do not get paid to rescue, we are all volunteer. 

Please help us spread the word and raise the funds needed to continue helping dogs in need.  I know this sounds like a large undertaking but it is what is needed to maintain our rescue.

Lyndon- kennel cough and neuter, shots
Tadd- neuter, heartworm, parasites, shots
Sophie- polycystic ovaries, mammary tumor, spay, shots, histopath, medical boarding 
Bear- blind, heartworm positive, neuter, dental
Jerry- disabled, 3.5 legs, neuter, prosthetis 
Daisy- spay, shots, chipped, the works
Caesar- neuter and knee check, shots, chip
Cleo- eye infections, mammary mass, ehrlichia
Lady- 16yrs, Mammary mass, the works
Fugi- infected & open neuter, kennel cough, quarantine, boarding. 
Yogi- neuter, all shots, boarding
Tokai- neuter, shots the works
Rasta- mucocele, heartworm, neuter
Minka- shots, boarding, bloodwork
Ethel- pneumonia, thyroid, arthritis, ear infections, xrays, bloodwork, UA 
Biscuit- neuter, yeast infection, heartworm, ear inf. Shots, chip. 
Joey- neuter, shots, bloodwork
Bruno- heartworm, neuter, shots, chip
Fiona- spay, heartworm, shots the works
Peaches- entropion, spay, UTI, heartworm 
Ching- neuter, heartworm
Max- shots
Adara- ICU hospitalization, euthanasia, autopsy.
Elektra- spay, shots, the works. 

Not to mention countless others we have helped other rescues with as well as helping dog owners with funding for vet care, food and medication. 

Adara, Fugi, Ethel and Yogi’s vet bills took a large chunk from our account.
