<div>My name is Emily Bonilla, the oldest grad daughter of Bertha M. Camarillo. I am writing this note to share the devastating news that my family has completely lost the home we all grew up living in caused by the Eaton Fire in Altadena, California. My grandparents, Victor and Bertha Camarillo moved to the US over 60 years ago to build their American dream. Today it is left in ashes and my grandmother Bertha Camarillo has no home. At 86, she is left with nothing from this home except for the clothes on her back. My entire family —-here and abroad —- and I are devastated by our loss. With this GoFundMe, we are asking for donations to help support my grandmother and the new way of life she now needs begin.

Escribo este mensaje para compartir la trágica noticia de que mi familia ha perdido por completo el hogar en el que todos crecimos por causa de el Fuego Eaton en la ciudad de Altadena, California. Mis abuelos, Víctor y Bertha Camarillo, se mudaron a los Estados Unidos hace más de 60 años para construir su sueño Americano. Hoy ese sueño y hogar se han derrumbado completamente en cenizas y mi abuelita Bertha Camarillo no tiene hogar. A sus 86 años, de su casa no le queda nada más que la ropa que lleva puesta. Toda nuestra familia, aquí y en el extranjero, y yo estamos devastados por nuestra pérdida y esta tragedia.
