Recovering Hope is a documentary film directed by Drew Callner. The film follows 6 people from Birmingham, Alabama as they walk their path to recovery from heroin addiction.
Our main goal for the film is to spread awareness about this epidemic that is sweeping our country.
We need your help to spread this movie and its message of hope to the world. All funds raised through this campaign will help us gain access to the maximum amount of distribution outlets. The more distribution the film can secure, the more lives we can touch.
To aquire distribution through outlets like Netflix, HBO, IFC, etc., the proper steps must be taken.
Recovering Hope is a true independent film. There is no studio or private investors that can finace:
• Film festival submissions
• Video of Demand services iTunes, Amazon, & Google Play
• Pressing and printing dvds/Blu-ray • Renting theaters for screenings
• Marketing/advertising concepts
...and a laundry list of other services that help a film have a succesful release.
This film is about finding a solution through recovery. It shows that heroin does not have to be a death sentence and that there is life after addiction. If you know someone who could be touched my this film and its message, please share this campaign with them.Your investment could save a life.
