Recovering Hands at Breezy Hill Farm
Reclaiming our planet one life at a time
We are planning on being able to open for our first two girls as early as the middle of February. We need your immediate help funding the current building project which is to add a small bedroom onto the building which we will be using to temporarily house our first two girls while we continue the work on the first cabin. This addition is expected to cost around $2000.00. Please consider helping us to meet our February 14th Deadline! In the below pic you see the wall that needs to be knocked out for the addition.
We really appreciate the help you have all been in getting us to this point! We are nearly there! The Group Room is ready, the Horses are happy, healthy, housed and waiting, the programming is in place, and we are ready to begin saving lives. We just need to move quickly on getting a space ready for our first two girls.
For anyone who isn't familiar with our on-going project here at Breezy Hill. This old Tobacco Farm is home to a residential health and well-being extended-care center called Recovering Hands. Our mission is to rebuild healthy minds and bodies through integrative therapy, counseling and intensive life skills components. Our present focus is on reclaiming the land, restoring the farm, repurposing the tobacco barns and reclaiming lives!
