Recovering from Florence for Mom

No one could have imagined the destructive forces that laid within Florence when she ripped through South Eastern North Carolina last week.  She brought not only devasting winds but dumped an unprecedented rainfall to the area, which has caused widespread flooding, causing many to lose not only their homes but the lives they worked so hard to build. 

My Mother is among these victims; she not only lost her home to the flood waters but everything she has ever owned.  This has left herself, her dog and bird homeless; she is broken but not defeated. 

She has a tough road ahead of her, so I am attempting to raise money in order to make that road a little less bumpy.  I am live in Durham and am unable to get to her due to road closures. 

She is currently working on receiving aid from FEMA, though there is no telling how long that will take; also, she will not be able to return to work until things have settled which could take weeks. 

I am helping to raise money in order to: 

-Help her with day to day costs.
-Food/Water for herself and animals. 
-Help to find her a new place to stay. 
-Help pay for clean-up when she finally gets home.
-Other Miscellaneous Costs. 

If you're unable to donate, there are other ways you can help that we'd greatly appreciate. We're in need of donations for the following: 

-Toiletries
-Clothes (Mom lost most of her clothes when her home was flooded. ) She wears a size 20 in jeans, XL in sweatpants/shirts.  She is a size 7.5 in shoes. 
-Food/Water
-Dog Food
-Blankets, Bed Sheets, Etc. 
-Furniture (When she's found a place). 
-Bed
-Gas Cards, etc. 
-Other Miscellaneous items. 

Anything at this point will be greatly appreciated.
