<div>On August 19th, I was involved in devastating accident which left me with life altering injuries. While riding as a passenger in a car, a ratchet strap flew off a flatbed semi-truck that was passing on the highway and it smashed through the car windshield going over 100+ mph.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It struck me directly on the left side of my face and I blacked out.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Im suffering from a fractured skull,
</div>
<div>shattered cheekbone,
</div>
<div>shattered ear canal,
</div>
<div>lost 80% hearing in left ear,
</div>
<div>broken jaw,
</div>
<div>completely torn jaw muscle,
</div>
<div>permanent nerve damage to my eyebrow and cheek,
</div>
<div>bleeding of my brain and behind my eye,
</div>
<div>and a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>October 4th I had a grand mal seizure because of my brain injury. I have to make sure my brain heals and recovers because I am at risk of more seizures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was rushed to the ICU and underwent a 9 hour surgery.
</div>
<div>Since then, I’ve lost hearing in my left ear, and I’m also dealing with severe nerve damage — most of the left side of my face is numb, and I can no longer raise my left eyebrow or blink well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recovery has been incredibly painful and challenging.
</div>
<div>Eating is difficult, I can barely open my mouth. Adjusting to the hearing loss and facial nerve damage has been overwhelming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On top of that, I won’t be able to return to work for a certain time, could possibly even be for at year or more.. which unfortunately leaves me struggling to cover my bills and every expense that I have.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This would greatly help me stay afloat during this recovery period so I can focus fully on healing without the constant stress of falling behind financially. Unfortunately I do not have any money saved nor do I have the funds to support myself..
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am deeply grateful to anyone who takes the time to read my story, share this page, or contribute in any way. Your kindness and generosity mean more to me than I can put into words. Knowing that people care enough to support me during one of the hardest times of my life gives me strength and hope for brighter days ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.
</div>
<div>Much love to anyone who can help, even if it is just prayers and thoughts
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Love you all
