Recover - Remediate - Renovate

Recently, Shorashim, the Sephardic youth outreach center in Hollywood, FL, was damaged by Hurricane Irma. Water broke through the roof and destroyed many of the ceiling panels and then flooded the floor. The laminate flooring was totally soaked with water. There was no power, so the water sat for five days. The flooring is ruined and needs to be replaced, but most importantly, the synagogue needs to be remediate for mold. Without this funding, the inevitable growth of mold will pose a significant health issue to the youth. Additionally, the baseboards need to be replaced and the walls need to be painted.

Shorashim serves as a facility where, unaffiliated teenagers have a Shul of their own. Where they learn, study and better solidify their relationship with G-d. Shorashim also serves as a meeting place, a youth center and a place where teenagers have a place to call their own. Your help now is vital especially at this time of the year. Each donation will have a direct and positive effect on everyone at Shorashim and a huge effect on each donor.
